And that’s really awesome. Seriously. I thought it would be awesome/romantic to take my sweetie there, and I made it happen. And we went to London. All the readers from the UK are currently thinking, “Big deal!” But it’s still sinking in, even six months later.
It continues to hit me every day. We went to London. We didn’t just travel to a neighboring town, we went on the longest plane ride EVER – avoiding Icelandic volcanoes as we went – and landed in a different world. We explored that world for two days. Two days that could have been spent lounging around doing nothing – but weren’t.
It was amazing, and it was a catalyst. I no longer have a mental barrier saying You can’t do that. We can go anywhere. We will go anywhere. That’s really special. I can’t urge you enough to go out and do whatever it is that you think is impossible.
You can do it too. Whatever your impossibility is, it’s possible. If you think you don’t have the money, the skills, the time – you’re wrong. You have everything you need. It’s all right inside you. You just have to actively look for it. When you make that realization, grab it by the horns and hang on for the ride.
